Thought for Today

when one door of happiness closes, another opens;

but often we look so long at the closed door

that we do not see the one which has been

opened for us

I love Hellen Keller's quotes. She could not see through her physical eyes, but she had such great vision pertaining to the things of life. What a shame that those of us who can see often cannot perceive what is often right in front of us and yet she could see the invisible.

That is so true, I think everyone who can should read the miracle worker her autobiography. All of those who possessed great vision have a left an indelible touch on humanity. Her obstacles never over took and yet those who loved her the most didn't know what she needed to succeed. She would definitely be someone who I would have loved to have met.
