Thought for Today

Faith is not a blind and careless assent to matter of indifference;
faith is not a state of mental suspense with a hope things may turn
out to be as the bible says. Faith is the firm persuasion that these
things are so, and he who at once knows the magnitude of these
things and believes that they are so must be filled with a joy that
makes him independent of the world, with and enthusiasm which
must seem to the world like insanity.

That is a more in-depth explanation of faith is. We all make the mistake of taking the shallow application of faith in our lives. Thus leaving us wondering why God didn't deliver. As always He was waiting on us.

You got it! By faith, Abram obeyed God! He left his homeland for a promise!(Insanity.) By faith, in Hebrews 11 you see him again with his epitaph, By faith. It requires faithfulness! Action too!
